Introducing:

Sarah Mitchell

BKin, CSEP-CEP

Sarah Mitchell is a long-term health and fitness advocate, and is a recent graduate of UFV with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. She is also a CSEP-certified Exercise Physiologist, and trains both the general population, as well as individuals with chronic conditions. Her focus is primarily on cardiovascular exercise, but she believes that no workout is complete without proper strength and flexibility training as well. Her view is that regular exercise can kick-start other healthy habits, such as eating better and sleeping more, and is a building block towards a more energy-filled life.

While leading self-management programs for those with chronic diseases, Sarah has found that exercising itself is not difficult for most people. What is hard, however, is finding a form of exercise that one can find both enjoyable and easy to fit into a busy schedule. Her goal is to cater programs for her clients so that they can find exercise an enjoyable activity instead of a burden or obligation.
