How WOW! Weight Loss Is Different:

When we created this program, our goal was to come up with a practical holistic nutrition program—not a diet—that solved weight loss problems once and for all. We made it a point to understand how clients were gaining weight. Why did they find it so difficult to lose weight? And lastly, why couldn’t they keep it off. As nutritionists, we understood the science of calories but agreed that the “calories in versus calories out” theory played such a small role in weight gain. We also questioned why individuals were still having trouble losing weight even when following this particular method. We recognized that food isn’t the sole reason behind weight gain.

This discovery led us down the path of researching hormones and hormonal imbalance as well as the body, mind, spirit connection. We spent hours reading clinical reports and books and talking to endocrinologists about how hormones affect the body. We also included coaching tools from Neuro Languistic Programming to help support and motivate our clients. It wasn’t until we had a firm grasp of the important role that hormones play in the body as well as a solid understanding as to how to effectively coach clients that we could start to create a program that would work on the first try with results that would last FOREVER!
